So, I got the news yesterday from my boss.  She is allowing me to take a couple days extra during our winter holiday to go back home.  This is awesome because I save about $500 on my plane ticket, and I will be home for Christmas!  That is fuckin awesome. 

 

The main reason I am going home is to attend and participate in one of my best friends wedding.  So, not only am I going to be partying like a rock star for about two weeks, I get a solo trip home sans wife and kiddies.  I shall be a good boy on most occasions, but when Steve and I get together, bowling, beer and bands seem to come into the mix.

 

So, come December 22nd, I am headed to Narita airport for a non-stop flight to Chicago O'Hare airport.  11 hours and 30 minutes of flight, several coctails, a movie or three and some hastily prepared airling food for the win!
